What we collect
- Account info: name, email, phone number, province, profile photo.
- Listing content: titles, descriptions, photos, prices, location notes you publish.
- Transaction info: escrow records, payment method (cash, mobile money, bank transfer), QR pickup confirmations.
- Device info: IP address, browser, device type, approximate location.
- Support: ticket messages and audit logs of account actions.
How we use it
- Run your account and show your listings to buyers.
- Match buyers to sellers across the five provinces.
- Detect fraud, spam, and abusive behaviour.
- Comply with Sierra Leonean law and respond to lawful requests.
Sharing
We share data with: hosting providers, payment / mobile money processors when you use them, and law enforcement when legally required. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
- Access and download your data — see Account → Privacy.
- Delete your account (soft-delete with 30-day recovery window).
- Correct inaccurate profile information at any time.
- Opt out of non-essential cookies — see Cookies policy.
Retention
Active account data is kept while your account exists. Deleted accounts are purged after 30 days, except records we must retain for legal, tax, fraud or audit purposes.
Children
SaloneMarket is for users aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
